About Carl Corser

Carl Corser was born in Independence, Kansas, on 

Independence day, July 4th, 1956. 

His early education was in a one room schoolhouse. Most of his life was spent on a small truck farm in a simple home without running water. Feed sacks stapled to the walls served as wall paper, and the only source of heat was from the wood burning stove. The five room house was shared with his parents and four siblings. Simple living with farm livestock and vegetable gardens developed an affinity for nature and nature’s Creator.

Carl was raised in a family that never failed to attend church. If the church doors were open, his family was there. Carl was born with DCP or Double Clef Palate. He has endured several surgeries and other dental procedures to correct his condition. Bullied through his school years, he graduated high school and entered college with a new goal in life, pastoral ministry with a strong burden to make a difference in the lives of others. Throughout many hardships, God has blessed Carl’s life with grace and strength to overcome the many obstacles he had to face.

Early in college, God impressed upon his heart the desire to write. Throughout his life, many opportunities were granted to Carl to express encouragement and exhortation to those who read his articles. Pastoring several churches helped to hone his writing skill and the quality of his writing. Over the past several years, God has granted him opportunities to bless the lives of others through articles and stories written for magazine publication, as well as postings to his Living Past Sunday website. 

These writing experiences has led him to the publication of his book "Living Past Sunday". Its contents are intended to be simple, life-giving words of encouragement, patterned after the method of Christ’s teachings. Carl is truly grateful for the blessings God has provided to him.
